Christmas is here!!!!!! Or is it???

So I am a lover of Christmas time, or if you do not believe in Christmas, I am a lover of this time of year (on the northern hemisphere)

I love the idea of the winter period - the cool breeze, cozy clothes, hot chocolate ... You know what  I'm getting at. I would love to actually get some snow during this time. I mean, I want to experience the stereotypical Christmas time, with snow and big wooly jumpers and sitting by a fireplace exchanging gifts. Too much of a fairytale? See cartoons give us youths too big expectations. :P
I have to admit having Christmas in the winter sure beats the Southern Hemisphere where it's summer. I have had only 6 years, out of my 16 years of living, of Christmas in summer :O. It's actually not that bad, but winter is ace. Unfortunately, where I live it's a desert... literally... so if we even get one day of rain it's a freaking miracle.

This brings me to a weird observation that I have made during this period. Normally, there are Christmas lights up, carols blasting in supermarkets and a general Christmasy vibe. But I feel nothing. Which sucks because this is supposed to be an awesome time of year. What other day of the year are you on holiday AND get presents?? It's so weird it's like Christmas chose not to show up this year. I remember last year, the supermarket that I go to played Christmas carols 1 month before Christmas until like 2 months after! Now... nothing... Weird huh? Maybe they stole Santa? (Btw, if you watch 'The Librarians', you'll get the reference :P). What adds to this is that this year we didn't have a lot of rain... only one day! How am i supposed to survive a whole year on one day of rain! Stupid climate change...

Anyways, I'm done with that little weird observation...
Sooo.....

Bye :D

Rebellious Teenage Life

Apparently all teenagers are rebellious at one stage... Well that's what I infer from my friends anyways. Does that mean just because I am not a rebellious teen, am i not normal?

I have never been bothered by the thought of being 'abnormal' or 'weird' but in this case, Im not too sure. I have never felt the need to be a rebellious person. It may be my goody-goody nature but does that mean I'm not normal?

A lot of people have said that there comes a point in everyones life where they will just 'let it go'. Apparently all my friends have already passed that point and I'm just sitting here waiting like a patient puppy waiting for an order.

Don't get me wrong, I have always wanted to do something 'bad' (spoken like a true goody two shoes :P), it's just that I haven't really had anyone to do it with. The whole point of being rebellious is to have fun and do it with your friends right? It would be pretty sad if you did all these bad things and had no one to do it with. I'm not saying that I would actually do anything bad on my own... I find that pretty sad

The only problem I had with this is that I may come to regret not doing anything fun and exciting during my childhood. When I hear my friends and the way they talk, they make their lives sound so exciting despite them being only like 1 year older than me. I don't want to grow up and realise that I have no interesting stories to tell anyone, no interesting stories to tell my children.

The aim of this post? I don't really know... It's kinda just a rant about how un-rebellious I am. But lets just say, I'm supposed to go really crazy in university. That's all I know, from stories I've heard.
Anyways, until then I will be the goody two shoes that I am... Or maybe until someone actually wants to do something rebellious in my company. Who knows maybe I'll finally fit into this stereotypical teenager persona that we have all come to know. But do I want to?

Anyways...
Bye :D

Trying to be like the movies...

A blog...
I honestly didn't think I would actually create one - whether I continue with it is another story. (I have the tendency to be slightly lazy).

Is it just me or do you sometimes have the feeling to try and copy what people do in TV shows and movies? You can imagine how boring a life can be if you have to actually try and live like a TV series.
Don't get me wrong, some TV shows would be epic to star in like: Sherlock and Awkward etc.
For example, me, I wanted to write a blog, to express myself and my slightly weird thoughts because Jenna Hamilton did it on Awkward.... How weird is that? Believe me when I say this that this is  not the weirdest thing I do.
It just seems that on TV everything seems to be more interesting and everything tends to work out. Unfortunately life isn't always like that... That's why I feel that people act like this because they want everything to work out.
If you think about it, it's kind of funny how the mind works. in order to stay sane, it will conjure up alternate realities that the person lives in as well as the actual reality. How ironic is that.

Well this was one of my first blogs. Maybe it'll get better, maybe it wouldn't. But what I can tell you is that whatever happens just know that during this whole thing I didnt think I just wrote, so if it doesn't make any sense, I am sorry.

:D Bye
